on June 26, 2015, an organization called Film Aid came to SAW school and provided a health education program with regard to malaria and dengue fever that normally occurred during the raining seasons.
Film Aid showed a video about these diseases, their symptoms and how they populated, and explained about the measures to prevent them after the video.
Film Aid has travelled to 9 refugees’ camps and educated to the refugees since last year. As for this year, it has extended the program by educating the migrant schools in Thai-Burma border like SAW school, Thwaythit and Tsamuhtaw for twice a month.
A Weekly Program to Teach Painting, Handicraft and Electrical Education
SAW School has begun a weekly program to teach painting, handicraft and electrical education for the students.
The teachers are Sayar Wonna Zaw (Painting for 3rd to 8th grades), Sayar Thiha Maung Maung and Sayar U Htein Win (Handicraft by recycling the wastes) and Sayar U Darwin (Electrical Education).
This program will promote the knowledge of the students who will be able to apply the knowledge in the real life in the future.
